Santo Domingo Parish Church and Convent is the one of the biggest Catholic Church in the Philippines. It houses the miraculous image of Our Lady of La Naval de Manila. Thus, it also known as the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of La Naval de Manila.
The Philippine government also recognizes the Church as a National Cultural Treasure because of its vast history and collections of various cultural and religious artifacts.
How to go here using public transportation:
- If you are coming from the North or
South (EDSA):
- Option 1: You may take the MRT-3, then alight off at Quezon Avenue Station. From there, walk towards Quezon Avenue and look for Jeepney's/FX bound to Quaipo. Ask the driver to alight you off at Santo Domingo.
- Option 2: You may take a Bus (bound to Monumento if you are coming from the south; and bound to Baclaran if you are coming from the North), then alight off at Quezon Avenue. From there, you can just walk going to the Shrine. From there, look for Jeepney's/FX bound to Quaipo. Ask the driver to alight you off at Santo Domingo.
- If you are coming from Recto, Quiapo or Manila City Hall Area: You may ride a Jeepney or FX bound to Fairview. Ask the driver to alight you off at Santo Domingo.
