Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Great Healer. Please heal my body, mind and spirit. Please rescue me from all useless anxieties and physical sufferings. Touch me with Your healing hands and allow me to experience the joy of being loved by You. I trust in You, LORD, and in You alone. 

Lord Jesus, You are my only hope! Please make me a better person this year and beyond.

Lord Jesus Christ, You are my only hope! Please help me to become a better person this year and beyond. Transform my heart and allow it to become more like You in each passing day. Heal me, Lord, with all my wounds and heal others whom I have wounded, too. Remove my pain, and remove their pain, too. I love You, Lord. Thank You for this life. 

DIOCESAN SHRINE AND PARISH OF OUR LADY OF THE ABANDONED, Marikina City, Philippines

The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Abandoned is a testament to the vibrant faith of the people in Marikina City. It is home to the venerable and miraculous image of Our Lady of the Abandoned, one of the few canonically crowned image of the Blessed Mother in the Philippines.

Father in heaven, as the year closes, I sincerely thank You for all the blessings and lessons you gave me. Please be with me this coming new year and beyond. I cannot do anything without Your guidance, providence and grace. You are everything to me, dear God. I love You with all my heart. I humbly surrender to You all my plans and endeavors in life. Katamis-tamisang Jesus Nazareno Diyos at Manunubos ko, na naglalakbay sa Kalbaryong pasan-pasan Mo ang Krus na pagpapakuan sa Iyo. Akong abang makasalanan, na naging dahilan ng Iyong di masayod na hirap ay nagpupuri sa Iyo at nagpapasalamat, na bilang maamong Kordero ay buong hinahong tinanggap Mo sa ibabaw ng Iyong balikat ang kahoy ng Iyong kamatayan upang doon mawakasan ang aking mga kasalanan at ng sandaigdigan. Patawarin mo ako, O Butihing Jesus; inaamin ko ang aking mga sala at ako’y nananalig na dahil sa kabutihan Mong walang kahulilip ay hugasan Mo ng Iyong Dugo. A PRAYER FOR HEALING

Dear Lord, You are the Just judge, Holy and True. You are the Most High God. You give us life. You hold all power in your hands.  You are the Mighty one from God who carries the world, and is ruler over all the earth. You Oh Most Blessed One are the giver of life. In you are only good things. In you is mercy and love. In you is healing of the nations. In you is freedom of worry and freedom of pain. 

Lord Almighty, You loved us so much. You were sent from your Father, sent to save us from destruction. We truly can never make it to Heaven without the help of Jesus the Son, who was sent to earth to help us. You, Lord are full of mercy and grace, please forgive us for our faults. Lord Jesus, in you all healing is performed. You Lord are the miracle worker. In your Spirit, your gift of healing is alive. In you Lord we can put our trust that you can heal us, and protect us from the enemy, and death of our soul. 

THE PROMISES OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TO THOSE WHO WILL HONOR HIS MOST SACRED HEART

Here are the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ to those who will honor His Most Sacred Heart. These promises were privately revealed to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque: 

(1) "I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life. 

(2) I will establish peace in their homes. 

(3) I will comfort them in all their afflictions. 

(4) I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, in death. 

(5) I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings. 

(6) Sinners will find in my Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy. 

(7) Lukewarm souls shall become fervent. 

(8) Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection. 

(9) I will bless every place in which an image of my Heart is exposed and honored. 

10) I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts. 

(11) Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in my Heart

(12) I promise you in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all-powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays in nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in my disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment."
