SAINT JOSEPH, THE HUSBAND OF MARY, QUASI-PARISH, Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines

The Quasi-Parish of Saint Joseph, the Husband of Mary, is located at Barangay Rawis in Legazpi City, Albay. It is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Legazpi. 

According to the Code of Canon (516), "...a quasi-parish is equivalent to a parish; a quasi-parish is a definite community of the Christian faithful in a particular church, entrusted to a priest as its proper pastor but not yet erected as a parish because of particular circumstances." These particular circumstances, unfortunately, were not identified in the Code of Canon. 

As of this posting, Church officials started the construction of a new Quasi-Parish (eventually Parish) to accommodate the increasing number of its faithful.
