Unlike other Catholic Chapels in non-sectarian Universities, the CEU Chapel has its own priest-chaplain designated by the Archbishop of Manila. This could probably due to the fact that CEU is one of the institutions awarded by the Pope with "PRO ECCLESIA ET PONTIFICE" award, in recognition to the University's voluntary service for the Church and the Pope.
