SAN ROQUE DE SAMPALOC PARISH CHURCH, Manila, Philippines

The San Roque de Sampaloc Parish Church is locatedat #542 M. Dela Fuente Street, Sampaloc, Manila. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila. 

How to go here using Public Transportation:
  • If you are coming from the South (Baclaran Area): You may ride the LRT-1 and alight off in Tayuman Station. From Tayuman, ask and look for Jeepneys bound to Vicente Cruz. Ask the driver to drop off at Mercury Drug located in Sobriedad Street. From there, you can just walk going to San Roque de Sampaloc Parish Church.
  • If you are coming from the North (Monumento Area): You may ride the LRT-1 and alight off in Tayuman Station. From Tayuman, ask and look for Jeepneys bound to Vicente Cruz. Ask the driver to drop off at Mercury Drug located in Sobriedad Street. From there, you can just walk going to San Roque de Sampaloc Parish Church.
  • If you are coming from the East (Rizal, Antipolo Area):
    • Option 1: You may ride the LRT-2 and alight off at Pureza Station. From there, you may just walk or ride a Jeepney bound to Divisoria or Quaipo. Ask the Driver to drop you off at Vicente Cruz Street. From V. Cruz Street, look for Jeepneys bound to Tayuman. Ask the driver to drop you off at San Roque de Sampaloc Parish Church.
    • Option 2: Go to Aurora Cubao. From there, look for Jeepneys bound to Divisoria or Quaipo. Ask the Driver to drop you off at Vicente Cruz Street. From V. Cruz Street, look for Jeepneys bound to Tayuman. Ask the driver to drop you off at San Roque de Sampaloc Parish Church.

SAINT PAUL METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL (Vigan Cathedral), Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines

The Saint Paul Metropolitan Cathedral, popoularly known as VIGAN CATHEDRAL, is located in Burgos Street, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. This is the cathedral church of the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia, one of the oldest among the Archdioceses in the Philippines.

How to go here using public transportation:
  • If you are coming from Manila:
    • Option 1: You may ride a Bus bound to Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. Ask the Driver to drop you off at Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. From there, you may ride a Tricycle or Calesa going to the  Saint Paul Metropolitan Cathedra. Travel Time is approximately 8 hours.
    • Option 2: You may book a flight going to Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. From Laoag City, you may ride a Bus bound to Manila. Ask the driver to drop you off at Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. From there, you may ride a Tricycle or Calesa going to the Saint Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. Travel Time from Laoag City to Vigan City is approximately 2 hours.

OUR LADY OF THE ATONEMENT CATHEDRAL, Baguio City, Philippines

The Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral, popularly known as Baguio Cathedral, is located in the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City.

It is under the Diocese of Baguio, particularly the Vicariate of Our Lady of Atonement. The Cathedral's construction began in 1920 and was completed in 1936.

How to go here using public transportation:
  • If you are coming from Metro Manila: Look for buses ( in Cubao, Pasay or Caloocan Terminals) bound to Baguio City. From Baguio City, ride a taxicab going to the Cathedral. Approximate travel from Manila to Baguio is 7 -8 hours.

SAN BARTOLOME (Saint Bartholomew) PARISH CHURCH, Malabon City, Philippines

The San Bartolome Parish Church is located at Rizal Avenue, Malabon City. It is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Caloocan, particularly the Vicariate of San Bartolome.

It is one of the oldest and most historical among all the Catholic Churches in the Country. In fact, this Year of 2014, they are celebrating its Quadricentennial or 400 years since the Church was established.

How to go here using public transportation:
  • If you are coming from EDSA: Look for Buses bound to UE Letre. Ask the driver to drop you off at Malabon City Square Mall. From there, ride a Jeepney going to Gasak or Bayan. Ask the driver to drop you off at Saint James Academy or Jollibee-Malabon. From there, you can just walk going to the San Bartolome Parish Church.
  • If you are coming from Antipolo, Rizal Area:

    • Option 1:Ride the LRT-2 and alight off at Recto Station. From there, ride a Jeepney going to Gasak or Bayan. Ask the driver to drop you off at Saint James Academy or Jollibee-Malabon. From there, you can just walk going to the San Bartolome Parish Church.
    • Option 2: Go to Cubao and look for Jeepneys bound to Divisoria. From there, ride a Jeepney going to Gasak or Bayan. Ask the driver to drop you off at Saint James Academy or Jollibee-Malabon. From there, you can just walk going to the San Bartolome Parish Church.

SHRINE OF MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE (EDSA Shrine), Quezon City, Philippines

The Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace is popularly known as EDSA Shrine. It is located along EDSA cor. Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City; and is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila.

How to go here using public transportation: 
  • If you are coming from the North or South (EDSA):
    • Option 1: You may take the MRT-3, then alight off at Ortigas Station. From there, you can just walk going to the Shrine.
    • Option 2: You may take a Bus (bound to Monumento if you are coming from the south; and bound to Baclaran if you are coming from the North), then alight off at Robinson's Galleria. From there, you can just walk going to the Shrine.
  • If you are coming from Recto, Quiapo or Manila City Hall Area: You may ride a Bus bound to Taytay or Cainta. Ask the driver to drop you off at EDSA Shrine.
  • If you are coming from Cainta, Taytay Area: You may ride a Bus bound to Quaipo or FX bound to Robinson's Galleria. Ask the driver to drop you off at EDSA Shrine.

NATIONAL SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE, Makati City, Philippines

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is located at 1923 Orense Street, Guadalupe Nuevo
Makati City. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila. 


The Church was established in the 17th century and, at first, named Our Lady of Grace Church. It was only in the Year 1803 when its name was changed to Our Lady of Guadalupe. 

In the Year 2002, it was declared an Archdiocesan Shrine, and in the Year 2010, declared a National Shrine. 

How to go here using public transportation:
  • If you are coming from the North or South (EDSA):

    • Option 1: You may ride the MRT-3 and alight off at Guadalupe Station. From there, look for a tricycle and ask the driver to bring you to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
    • Option 2: You may ride a Bus (bound to Monumento if you are coming from the south; and bound to Baclaran if you are coming from the North) and alight off at Guadalupe. From there, look for a tricycle and ask the driver to bring you to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
  • If you are coming from San Andres Bukid or Pedro Gil Area in Manila: You may ride a Jeepney bound to Guadalupe. Alight off in Guadalupe, and from there, look for a tricycle and ask the driver to bring you to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

ABBEY CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF MONTSERRAT (San Beda Chapel), Manila, Philippines

The Abbey Church of Our Lady of Montserrat, popularly known as the San Beda Chapel, is located in 638 Mendiola Street, San Miguel, Manila. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila, and is being administered by the Order of Saint Benedict (Benedictine Monks). The Chapel is within the San Beda College compund and just across Centro Escolar University (CEU) in Mendiola, Manila.

SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI PARISH CHURCH, Mandaluyong City, Philippines

The Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church is located in Saint Francis St. cor. Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. It is found in between Shangri-La Mall and Lourdes School of Mandaluyong. 

The Church is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila, and is being administered by the Capuchin Franciscans (OFMCap). 

How to go here using public transportation:
  • If you are coming from the North or South: You may take a Bus or MRT-3, then alight off at Shaw Boulevard Station. From there, you can just walk going to the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church. The Church is locates at the back of Shangri-La Mall.
  • If you are coming from Avenida or Recto Area: You may ride a Jeepney or FX going to Pasig. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church or Lourdes School. The Church is just beside the Lourdes School of Mandaluyong.
  • If you are coming from Angono, Cainta, Taytay or Antipolo Area: Look for Jeepneys or FX bound to CROSSING. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church or Lourdes School. The Church is just beside the Lourdes School of Mandaluyong.
