Mga aral mula sa Niño HESUS ng Pandacan


Sa nakalipas na dalawang libong taon, marami sa ating mga gusaling simbahan (kabilang ang mga Banal na Imahen) ang nasira na dahil sa sunog, lindol, bagyo at iba pa. Ang mga pangyayaring ito ay talaga namang lubos na nakakalungkot. Nguni’t, hindi dapat ito maging dahilan upang tayo ay panghinaan ng pananalig, bagkos ay dapat dalhin tayo sa isang mas malalim na pagninilay na magdadala sa atin sa mas malamin na relasyon sa Panginoon. 

1. ANG SUNOG SA SIMBAHAN. Ang pagkakasunog sa gusaling simbahan ng mga taga Pandacan ay nakapanlulumo at nakalulungkot. Itinuturo sa atin sa tagpong ito na ang Simbahan ay hindi ang gusali. Ang Simbahan ay tayo, tayo na sumasampalataya kay Hesus na ating Panginoon at Tagapagligtas. Tayo ang Katawang Mistiko ng Panginoon.

Ang mga abo ng gusaling simbahan at ng mga banal na imahen ay pagtuturo ng isang katotohanan: "ang lahat sa mundong ibabaw ay lilipas, mabubulok at masisira. Sa Diyos dapat ang tuon at pag-asa."

2. ANG PAGHAHANAP. Matapos ang sunog, nagkaroon ng paghahanap sa matandang imahen ng Santo Niño o Batang Hesus. Ang tagpong ito ay pagpapakita ng estado ng maraming buhay ng tao. Marami sa atin ang patuloy na naghahanap sa kaligayahan at kapayapaan. Marami sa atin ang naghahanap ng sagot sa mga problema ng buhay. Marami sa atin ang naghahanap sa tunay na pagmamahal. Nguni't, kakaunti lamang ang nakahahanap. Bakit? Dahil karamihan ay naghahanap sa maling direksyon, karamihan ay naghahanap sa maling relasyon ay ugnayan at kakaunti lamang ang naghahanap kay HESUS. Hanapin natin si Hesus sa ating mga puso, at doon Siya'y matatagpuan natin na matagal ng naghihintay sa ating pagbabalik. 

3. ANG MASAMANG BALITA. Makalipas ang ilang araw ng paghahanap, natagpuan ang imahen - sunog at abo na. Tunay na nakapanlulumo, at walang salita ang sasapat upang ihayag ang lungkot na nasa puso ng bawat mananampalataya at mga deboto ng Poon. Ang pagkasira ng Imahen ay masamang balita, nguni't ito'y pag-anyaya para sa ating lahat na umasa sa Panginoon na may kakayahan na gawing tuwa ang lungkot; posible ang imposible; at mabuti balita ang masama. Mananatiling buhay ang Panginoon, mga kapatid! Nawala man ang imahen, si HESUS sa Sakramento ay buhay na buhay at iyan ang pinaka-mahalaga sa lahat.  

Mawawala, mabubulok at masisira ang lahat ng mga bagay dito sa mundong ibabaw, nguni’t ang Diyos at ang Kanyang kapangyarihan na magligtas at magpagaling ay mananatili magpakailanman.

SHRINE OF JESUS THE DIVINE TEACHER, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Intramuros, Manila, Philippines

The Shrine of Jesus, the Divine Teacher is popularly referred to as the PLM Chapel by students and employees of the University. It was established in the Year 1990 through the efforts of Bishop Teodoro Bacani, Jr.  It provides a spiritual home for the catholic population of the University which happens to be the majority inside the campus.

The chapel is located within the premises of Fort Santiago inside Manila's Walled City, Intramuros. According to the security personnel of the park, Masses are being held every Sunday Morning and First Friday of each Month.

FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY CHAPEL, FEU Campus, Manila, Philippines

The Chapel is located inside the FEU Campus. It has long been the source of spiritual strength of the Academic Community for so many decades. It is under the titular patronage of Our Lady of Fatima. The Chapel houses priceless religious work of art beautifully crafted by some of the country's National Artists. To name a few,  we have the Mosaic of Our Lady of Fatima by National Artist Vicente Manansala;  the painting of the crucifix located at the main altar and the stations of the cross by National Artist Carlos "Botong" Francisco; and we also have the sculpture of THE PIETA by National Artist Napoleon Abueva.

JESUS THE DIVINE TEACHER CHAPEL (PNU Worship Center), Philippine Normal University, Manila, Philippines

The PNU Worship Center is located inside the Philippine Normal University Campus, a higher learning institution known for producing world-class Filipino teachers. Hence, the Worship Center is also known as Jesus the Divine Teacher Chapel.  The establishment of this religious facility inside the campus was spearheaded by the late Archbishop of Manila, Cardinal Sin, some private individuals and the previous administration of the school.

OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY CHAPEL, Lucky China Town Mall, Binondo, Manila, Philippines

The Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Chapel is located inside the Lucky China Town Mall in Binondo District, Manila. It serves as a sanctuary and haven amidst the busy and fast-paced economic trading in the area. There are masses here during Wednesdays and Sundays. In its side chapel, a live broadcast of THE FEAST is also being aired every Sunday.

OUR LADY OF THE ABANDONED PARISH CHURCH, Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines

The Parish Church is one of the oldest colonial churches in Manila. The current church structure was constructed during the 18th century, but its establishment can be traced all the way back to the 16th century.  The church, specifically its convent and the "dressing room of the virgin," was declared as a National Treasure by the National Museum.

SANTA MONICA PARISH CHURCH, Tondo, Manila, Philippines

The Parish Church of Santa Monica in Tondo, Manila is located at Dagupan Street formerly known as Calle Santa Monica. It is vert near the Tutuban PNR Station and Divisoria Proper.

In the early days, Santa Monica was just a small chapel under the jurisdiction of Santo Niño de Tondo Parish Church. In the subsequent years, in an effort by the Archdiocese of Manila to sub-divide big parishes in order to give more attention to the spiritual needs of the people, Santa Monica was transferred under the jurisdiction of the then newly-built parish, Immaculate Conception in Tayuman.  But due to the growing number of parishioners, Santa Monica was later on declared as a separate Parish Church.

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH CHURCH, Tondo, Manila, Philippines

The Church is located at Tayuman Street in Tondo, Manila. Unlike some old Churches in Manila, Immaculate Conception Parish was only established in the 1960's. But despite of that, the Parish is currently one of the biggest in Manila in terms of jurisdiction. The beautiful facade, the long center aisle and the spacious parking space makes it one of the most "sought-after" wedding churches in Manila, particularly for the people of Tondo and nearby places.

THE SHRINE OF SAINT ANTHONY DE PADUA, Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines

The Shrine of Saint Anthony de Padua is located at the heart of Sampaloc area and the University Belt. It is under the administration of the Franciscan Friars; and is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila. 

The powerful intercession of the Saint, particularly on finding lost items, is drawing more and more people to visit the Shrine. Devotional Mass is celebrated every Tuesday.
