The Church is not only a Parish, but also a Diocesan Shrine in honor of Saint Augustine of Hippo. It is home to the venerated image of the Saint which the locals famously referred to as "TATA USTENG."
It is located in the Tanza Town Proper and is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Imus.
