SAINTS PETER AND PAUL PARISH CHURCH, Makati City, Philippines

The Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church, popularly known as the "Poblacion" Church, is located at 5539 D.M. Rivera St., Poblacion, Makati City. The Church is just beside the Saint Paul College Makati. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila, and is one of the oldest and most historical among the Catholic Churches in the Philippines. It was built in the Year 1620.

How to go here using public transportation:

  • If you are coming from Divisoria or Recto Area: 
    • Option 1: You may ride a Jeepney bound to Kalentong. Ask the driver to drop you off at Market Place. From there, ride another Jeepney going to HULO. Ask the driver to drop you off at Makati-Mandaluyong Bridge. From there, ride a tricycle and ask the driver to drop you off at the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church.
    • Option 2: If you are coming from RECTO-AVENIDA area, you may ride the LRT-1 in Dorotheo Jose Station and alight off the Pedro Gil Station. From there, look for Jeepneys bound to Guadalupe. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church.
  •  If you are coming from the North or South:

    • Option 1: You may ride the MRT-3 and alight off at Guadalupe Station. From there, look for Jeepneys bound to TAFT AVENUE, PACO or BUKID. As the driver to drop you off at Gomez Street or Makati Avenue. From there, you can just walk going to the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church. 
    • Option 2: You may ride the MRT-3 and alight off at Buendia Station. From there, look for Jeepneys or FX bound to LRT or TAFT. As the driver to drop you off at Makati Avenue. From there, you can just walk going to the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church or ride a tricycle near the Mang Inasal Restaurant.
  • If you are coming from Ayala Avenue (from Ayala Triangle to RCBC Plaza): You may ride a Jeepney bound to Guadalupe. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church.

    If you're coming from North or South, you can take the mrt and get off at guadalupe station. From there, go to the Loyola Funeral Parlor's side street. There you can find jeepneys going to Ayala, take that jeepney & ask the driver to drop you at Valdez Street (the street between Barrio Fiesta & A. Venue Mall. Cross the street (Valdez) and the church is just a block away from there. This is a short walk rather than taking the P. Gomez Street or the Makati Avenue (JP Rizal) mentioned above.
