SAN ROQUE CATHEDRAL, Caloocan City, Philippines

The San Roque Cathedral is located at A. Mabini Street, Caloocan City. It is just in front of the Caloocan City Hall and beside La Consolacion College. It is the official Cathedral-Church of the Bishop of Caloocan, and is one of the most historical church in the country.

How to go here using public transportation:
  • If you are coming anywhere from EDSA: You may ride a Bus bound to LETRE. Ask the driver to drop you off in SANGANDAAN. From there, look for Jeepneys bound to ILAYA, DIVISORIA. Ask the driver to drop you off at San Roque Cathedral or Caloocan City Hall.
  • If you are coming from the East (Marikina, Rizal or Antipolo Area): You may ride the LRT-2 in Santolan or Katipunan Station. Alight off at Recto Avenue Station. From there, you have 2 options:
    1. You may ride a Jeepney bound to DIVISORIA. From Divisoria, look for Jeepney bound to SANGANDAAN. Ask the driver to drop you off at San Roque Cathedral or Caloocan City Hall.
    2. You may ride a Jeepney bound to LETRE. Ask the Driver to drop you off at C-3 corner A. Mabini Street. From there, take another Jeepney ride bound to SANGANDAAN. Ask the driver to bring you to the San Roque Cathedral or Caloocan City Hall.

PS: Special Thanks to my friend, Weldann Panganiban, for letting me use some of his photos of the Cathedral.
