Our hearts are in constant search for satisfaction, happiness and meaning. We tried our very best to look for it in temporal things and situations, and yet we fail. There is that void in our hearts in which the world and its offerings cannot fill in. We continue to feel alone. We continue to despair. We remain hopeless, helpless and restless. The burden is piling up. The load is becoming heavy for us to bear. We need someone who can salvage us out of this cycle of emotional torment; someone who can fill the void in our hearts; someone who can give us that joy which no one can talk away from us; someone who can give us the validation and love which our hearts have long been yearning for. Friends, JESUS is the ONE! He will not break our hearts, He will fix it and make it beautiful once again. He will refresh us and give us the rest we have long been searching for. Stop running away from Him, and start drawing near. Return. Surrender.
